Service Agreement
Sign & Lighting Maintenance/Service Rates & Conditions

This following agreement describes the rates and conditions of ActionSign Group's Service Department. Since our goal is to keep costs at a minimum, most service calls will be attempted with a one-man crew. Safety, efficiency, and equipment required may dictate that a two-man crew is necessary.  For further explanation of service rates and/or conditions, please speak to our Service Department.  Thank you for choosing ActionSign Group.

Crane Truck - One Man

  • Includes one man and a service truck (crane truck with one man w/65 feet maximum reach)
  • This rate includes all service that can be handled with one man, and is within reach from our normal service vehicle.
  • There is a minimum "on site" charge of one hour.  After the first hour, all times are rounded to the next half-hour.  (Ex: one hour and 10 minutes will be billed at 1.5 hours).
  • Travel:  All charges are billed "port to port".
  • Emergency service calls or calls that are requested as immediate attention, will be billed using the standard per hour rate including all travel (port to port) and on-site labor. After hours service requests (before 8:00 am and after 4:30 pm weekdays or Saturdays) will be billed using our overtime rate of 1.5 times the one-man service rate.
  • For service requests from out of state companies which request one man rate:  Upon arrival at site, an Action Sign technician will determine if it is safe to proceed as requested.  Should field conditions be deemed as unsafe to the technician, pedestrians, surroundings, and/or the sign, this trip will be billed as a normal call and will advise to return with a two man crew at the two man service rates.

Crane Truck - Two Man

  • Includes two men and service truck or crane truck w/bucket and a maximum height from the ground of 65 feet.
  • There is a minimum "on-site" charge of one hour.  After the first hour all times are rounded to the next half-hour.  (Ex: one hour and ten minutes will be billed at 1.5 hours).
  • Travel:  All charges are billed "port to port".
  • Emergency service calls or calls that are requested as immediate attention will be billed using the standard per hour rate including all travel (port to port) and on-site labor.  After hours service requests (before 8:00 am and after 4:30 pm weekdays and Saturdays) will be billed using our overtime rate of 1.5 times the two-man rate.

Terms of Payment

Unless prior arrangements have been made, all service calls are on a COD basis and are to be paid at the time of service completion by cash, company check, or credit card (Visa & Mastercard).  House accounts that have been prearranged will be invoiced upon completion and is to be paid within 30 days of the invoice date.  In the event of late payments, a service charge of 1.5% per month will be added to the invoice amount.

  • Material costs (i.e. lamps, bulbs, ballasts, transformers, neon replacements, etc.) are in addition to the above hourly rates.  All material costs will be invoiced at list price plus 10%.
  • Normal services calls are responded to within five working days.
  • For Mall locations that require servicing before or after Mall hours, 1.5 x normal rates above will be used when invoiced.
  • Although we attempt to keep stock items/parts on service vehicles, rare occasions for special order parts may require additional trips and longer waiting periods incurring additional costs.
